THE ROLE  

  • Ensures that the company’s accounting books are updated and always reconciled.
  • Ensures the generation of timely and accurate periodic financial reports.
  • Ensures that financial transactions are processed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensures that financial transactions are documented completely and properly.
  • Ensures that the company complies with BIR requirements and regulations.
  • Works with internal and external auditors to ensure timely, effective, and efficient audit.
  • Assists the Finance Controller in ensuring that the Accounting and Finance Department are functioning effectively and efficiently towards the achievement of company targets and goals.

SAP

  • Reviews financial entries and transactions in SAP
  • Reconciles entries and balances in SAP
  • Checks on Accounting Team Members to ensure that entries are recorded on or before the close of every month end
  • Records closing entries every month end
  • Records recurring entries in SAP to ensure that all transactions are recorded and accounted for
  • Generates and consolidates all financial data necessary for an accurate financial reporting
  • Monitors and accounts company assets such as but not limited to Inventory and Fixed Assets.

BIR & AUDIT

  • Ensure that the company is compliant with all relevant BIR regulations.
  • Prepares and files BIR returns and reports.
  • Ensure the timely submission and payment of BIR required returns and reports.
  • Prepares reports and schedules as required by internal and external parties during audits

OTHERS

  • Assists other Accounting Team Member on their function in case of absence, urgent and big volume of transaction and any other circumstances to ensure that the Accounting & Finance Department is functioning effectively and efficiently as intended.
  • Performs tasks as instructed by the Finance Controller.

THE INDIVIDUAL  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy 
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) 
  • Must be amenable to work 100% onsite in Porac, Pampanga
  • With at least two (2) years of experience in relevant field (e.g. financial reporting, accounting, audit). 
  • Experience in handling full set of accounts 
  • Experience in the relevant industry (i.e. holding/investment companies) is an advantage  
  • Excellent communication and presentations skills, including ability to communicate succinctly complex topics to top management and preparation of concise PowerPoint deck for management use. 
  • Ability to collaborate and work with different departments 
  • Proactive, self-driven, and work under pressure to meet deadlines 
  • Advanced in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
