Quality & Assurance Lead
The role entails leadership and strategic oversight of the implementation of a quality management system and its effectiveness in adhering to business, statutory, legal, and contractual requirements. It includes managing and leading teams within the Quality Management function of the PMO, whilst working with business stakeholders to ensure compliance with requirements, thereby supporting a business that effectively manages quality risks.
The role is critical for fostering ongoing business enhancement, necessitating strong leadership in quality assurance activities while advocating for quality and audit standards. It drives business improvement and promotes innovation and transformation whilst supporting the project remains on time and within budget.
THE ROLE
- Leads the Quality function of the organization, demonstrating effective leadership to ensure excellence in delivery against plans and championing a culture of continuous improvement across all activities.
- Influences strategic development and executes the overall strategy for Quality Assurance.
- Sets priorities and provides input into execution plans related to quality assurance.
- Accountable for the assessment, management, and mitigation of business quality risks.
- Provides strategic advice and counsel to leadership teams on all quality assurance matters.
- Chairs quality assurance senior leadership meetings.
- Accountable for the design and deployment of a Quality Management System (QMS).
- Oversees the internal risk-based audit schedule across the organization.
- Holds organizational ownership for investigations and root cause analyses of instances of non-conformance.
- Ensures effective use of the Quality Management System, including its availability, governance controls, and accountability mechanisms for integration and continuous improvement.
- Oversees the production of quality assurance reports, conducts data analysis, and provides data-driven recommendations to senior leadership.
- Drives the delivery of a quality assurance communication strategy to support strategic outcomes and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Oversees the creation of management review data, presents recommendations to senior leadership, and gains support and buy-in.
- Leads the implementation of quality development activities to review and enhance organizational performance continuously.
- Accountable for identifying quality training needs, developing materials, and delivering training to upskill the organization in quality and audit practices.
- Maintains and fosters a strong collaborative network, establishing partnerships with key senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Manages, influences, and negotiates with key senior stakeholders, including up to C-suite and board level.
- Leads the implementation of a systematic performance improvement cycle to enhance quality assurance approaches across the organization.
- Delivers performance management, technical development, direction, and coaching for team members.
- Holds accountability for supply chain performance and leads the audit and review of their QMS capabilities.
- Collaborates toward the shared goal of net-zero carbon transition and takes responsibility for identifying and managing related carbon emissions and reductions during project delivery.
- Expert knowledge and application of Quality Assurance Management Systems.
- Comprehensive knowledge of audit processes, risk management, and mitigation within operational environments.
- Advanced business planning and budgetary control skills.
- Significant experience in people leadership and stakeholder management within organizations of similar scale and complexity.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO standards: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 27001.
- Extensive understanding of the construction, consultancy, and facilities management industries.
- Proven experience in applying change management principles
- Skilled in both internal and external auditing.
- Must be amenable to be assigned in any of the following work locations: Rizal or Laguna
