JOB OVERVIEW
The HSE Manager supervises all aspects related to Health, Safety, and Environment on the construction sites, facilities, and offices. He ensures that the work complies with all legislative and contractual requirements

THE ROLE

Ensures the development and implementation of HSE policies, regulations, and procedures.
Undertakes regular inspections, evaluations, audits, and walkthroughs of project sites and work facilities.
Ensures full compliance with health and safety laws and regulations, as well as Employer’s policies, requirements, and procedures.
Makes recommendations to improve safety where applicable.
Supervises the evaluation of all site employees/workers and appropriate training as necessary.
Liaises with ER and Contractor to ensure that HSE equipment and PPE are provided by the contractor and are adequately used by all workers.
Ensures that risk assessments are conducted.
Prepares and submits reports, notes, and presentations.
Undertakes other related tasks and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Site Deputy Project Director or other senior management, ensuring alignment with project objectives and organizational goals.

THE INDIVIDUAL

Proven work experience as HSE Manager on construction sites.
BSc degree in Occupational Safety and Health and/or Security or any other related discipline.
Familiar with construction sites and project management of large infrastructure projects with international companies.
In-depth knowledge of relevant national laws and regulations governing HSE practices on large construction projects.
Minimum 10 years of experience as a HSE Manager.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English).
Able to work efficiently and independently.
Team player, communicative.
Initiative in proposing and implementing improvements.
Amenable to work in the project site: Pakil, Laguna.
