THE ROLE
- Oversee and provides guidance to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and other financial transactions to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all entries are recorded accurately.
- Provide reports for corporate review and analysis.
THE INDIVIDUAL
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in general ledger accounting across various sectors.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of applicable accounting standards, regulations, and best practices.
