JOB SUMMARY
The Operation Grounds Engineer/Specialist is responsible for inspection, maintenance, and repair of solar PV Systems. Identifies problems and develops corrective action plans. Participate in electrical, mechanical, and communication component inspections, testing, repair, and troubleshooting. Provide timely written review reports from field operations, status, and constructive feedback to shift supervisor as requested. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and associated periodic meetings. Ensure that all operations and maintenance activities performed at the PV farm comply with OEM manuals. Responsible for generating schedules of PM activities and arranging manpower accordingly.

THE ROLE
- Plant Operation
- Provide timely written review reports from field operations, status, and constructive feedback to supervisor as requested.
- Prepare proper documentation and reports for every completed maintenance work.
- Lead and supervise electricians or ground personnel in performing O&M activities.
- Respond to the findings of the electrician’s daily operational inspection and provide solutions to the issue.
- Record and report all faults, deficiencies, and other unusual occurrences, as well as the time and materials expended on work orders.
- Ensure that the O&M activities such as predictive, preventive, and corrective measures will be performed within the schedule.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.
- Regulatory Compliance
- Coordinate with plant dispatch to regulate line voltage, frequency, load, and other power quality requirements.
- Environmental Safety and Health Compliance
- Comply with and implement Environmental, Safety, and Health policies and procedures.

- Comply with and implement IMS policies and procedures.

THE INDIVIDUAL
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering – preferably Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- At least two (2) years of work experience in heavy industry, preferably in a power plant.
- Ability to understand electrical drawings and schematics.
- Licensed Engineer.
